Curriculum
CONNECTION

Musical patterns and the process of learning to building a foundation of learning music without getting distracted by the sound and size of a piano. They will synthesize and relate knowledge and personal experiences to learn, relate musical ideas and work with societal, cultural and historical context to deepen understanding.
PROCEDURE

Refine procedure and methods of practicing in learning in order to perfect an instrument. using a consistent and measurable process as they try to reach a goal. This keeps them focused on learning and not how hard learning can feel. They will perceive and analyze musical songs and explore how the music makes them feel.
PERFORM
Develop self awareness and confidence in sharing their music and ideas. Students will analyze, interpret and select musical songs for presentation, develop and refine performance techniques and work for presentation and express meaning through the performance of their musical songs.​

MOTIVATION

Self assessment when the song is good or needs work. Students will pour into a rewards system that encourages learning and makes kids feel accomplished
